 People are saying you’re a fool for trusting a stranger. Delete it, Rachel. I mean it.  Sweetheart, the diner, our name in this town. Chad can fix all of it. Please just think about it.  Marry me, Grace. I’ll give you everything he never could. Stability, respect, a real future. The company needs its CEO, Marcus.

 Find him or we vote him out. Give him one more week. Grace, I want you to be my wife.  Oh my god, Chad.  Maybe I don’t deserve either one.  I need time, Chad. Not a yes. Not today.  Take your time. I’m not going anywhere. That boy fixed my truck for free. Carried my groceries every week. Never once asked for anything back.

 Money didn’t change who he was underneath. Gracie, dig deeper into Whitfield. If I can’t have the girl, I’ll bury the both of them. Sir, the company’s falling apart without you. And so are you, if I’m being honest.  I ruined the one real thing I ever had, Marcus. If Grace won’t marry me by choice, we’ll make sure the diner’s debt magically reappears. Worse than before.

 5 minutes for the truth would have been nice a month ago.  Pretty words don’t undo lies, Mr. Whitfield.  You’re right, ma’am. That’s why I’m not here with words. I’m here with proof of who I really am.    My whole life, people wanted something from me. My name, my money. You never asked for anything.

 That’s why I couldn’t tell you. I was terrified of losing the one honest thing I had.  This isn’t about buying us back, Ethan.  I know. This happened before I even knew Chad was coming for the diner. Ask Marcus. The timeline proves it. No, no, this isn’t happening.  Chad, the SEC just froze all your accounts.

 They know about the fake land deals, the forged debt notices, ALL OF IT.  WHITFIELD DID THIS.  You think money makes you a hero? You’re just a liar with better suits.  And you’re a fraud who almost stole a family’s home. This isn’t over, Whitfield.  I’m not asking you to forgive me today. I just needed you to know the truth. All of it. Finally.

 You made me question everything I thought I knew about you. That’s going to take more than a paid off deed to fix. Then I’ll spend as long as it takes.  Should we give them a minute?  Give them the whole afternoon.   Tell me something true. Something you’ve never told anyone.  I built an empire trying to prove I mattered.

 You’re the first person who made me feel like I already did.  I need time, Ethan. Not a no. Just time.  Time. Then I’ll wait in this town for as long as you need.  I actually love this job. You’re a natural for a suit.  He is doing just fine.   I’m restructuring my role. I’ll still lead the company, but I’m building a new foundation, one that actually helps towns like this one.

 Marcus, do you have a comment? Justice finally.  Free meals, job training, small business grants. Starting right here where I found what mattered. I finally get to build something instead of just filming it. knew there was good in you the day you carried my groceries, son.  You were one of the few who saw it before I did.

 You hurt my daughter, but you also showed up when it counted most. That matters to me.  It’ll always matter to me, too, ma’am. Grace Bennett. I’ve built companies, closed billion-dollar deals, and none of it ever felt as important as  this moment right here. Will you marry the man who finally learned what mattered because of you?  Yes.
