UNBELIEVABLE Rare Old Photos BANNED in History Books

PART 2:

 Here’s a look at the power mower of the future being demonstrated way back on October 14th, 1957.  This fascinating degarotype is actually the earliest confirmed photograph we have of Abraham Lincoln. It’s believed to have been taken back in 1846 by Nicholas H. Shepard shortly after Lincoln was elected to the United States House of Representatives.

 This photo shows the fascist politician Oswald Mosley getting knocked out. It happened back in October of 1937 during a march in Liverpool. You can see him there giving the fascist salute when two stones thrown by anti-fascists, mind you, hit him and knocked him unconscious. Check out this amazing photo.

 It’s the world’s largest log cabin located in Portland, Oregon in the United States. This picture was taken way back in  1938. Here’s a great old photo. It shows Mary Pikford and Douglas Fairbanks. And this was a really special moment. They’re putting their handprints and signatures in cement outside the Chinese Theater back in 1927.

 Can you believe it? They were actually the first two celebrities ever to do it. Here’s a photo of a happy clown. It looks like it’s from the early 1900s.  This photo taken on the 1st of March, 1930 shows a wonderfully good-natured football crowd in West Ham, London. They’re passing a young boy over their heads right to the front so he can get a better view of the game. This is a really powerful image.

You’ve got soldiers embracing a moment of connection. It’s from 1945 and it shows the meeting between American and Soviet troops on the Elba River. Here’s a picture of Smokeoky the dog relaxing in a helmet. It was taken around  1943. Here’s a photo from Chelabinsk in the Soviet Union way back in 1946.

 Looks like a sports  parade. This is a really intense moment. It’s the instant Yseph Gerbles, the Nazi minister of propaganda, realized his photographer, Eisenstein, was Jewish. The photo was taken back in 1933. You can practically feel the tension just looking at it. All right, so here’s a neat old photo.

 It shows a group of teachers on spring break way back in  1910. Here’s a photo of the Ross sisters doing a small tower formation. This was taken around the  1940s. What a perfect day on the lake. And it’s made even better by this impressive  watercraft. Ah, summertime. Isn’t it the best?  All right, here’s a cool shot.

 We’ve got three old school archers in Japan. This photo was taken way back in the 1860s. Pretty awesome,  huh? Check out this blast from the past. This photo shows a McDonald’s back in the 1950s. Can you believe it?  Here’s a fun one. Check out this ostrich totally engrossed in the newspaper. It looks like it’s reading the caretaker’s paper from the National Archief back in  1951. All right.

 Here we’ve got a vending machine, but instead of snacks, it’s selling light bulbs. Pretty handy, I’d say.  This incredible photo shows American silent film star Phyllis Gordon doing a bit of shopping in Earl’s Court. And who’s with her? A 4-year-old cheetah. Apparently, the animal was brought all the way to the United Kingdom from Kenya.

 That’s quite a shopping companion. Here’s a sweet image of a small family gathered right in front of their home. It looks like a peaceful everyday moment, doesn’t  it? Check out this blast from the past. This photo shows a business class piano bar right on an airplane from the 1970s. Imagine that. Here’s a photo from around 1917.

 It shows a motorcycle unit of the New York National  Guard. This amazing photo shows a diver demonstrating how he captured images of the Royal Navy submarine HMS Thetus. He did it by strapping a Leica camera inside his helmet and holding the trigger between his teeth. It was a pretty clever way to take pictures of the wreck, wasn’t it? Here’s Winston  Churchill.

 Here’s the image of Tower Bridge way back in 1920.  Here’s a cool old photo. It shows Jack Dempsey, Harry Houdini, and Benny Leonard. They were hanging out sometime in the  1920s. Here’s a photo from North Africa taken in 1944. It shows women in their bathing  suits. Here’s a fun one. This photo shows an Italian woman looking super curious, checking out the kilt of a Scottish soldier.

 It looks like it was taken in the coliseum in Rome back in 1944. This photo looks like something straight out of a cartoon, doesn’t it? But believe it or not, this is actually a real sport that was super popular back in the late  1800s. This photo shows a public urinal in Paris way back in 1875.  Here’s a cool vintage shot.

 It’s a picture of cabaret artist Blanch Vodon in costume taken way back in  1898. This powerful photo captures a really poignant moment. It shows families separated by the Berlin Wall. Residents of West Berlin are holding their children up for their grandparents to see who are on the East Berlin side. It really symbolizes the divide and the emotional toll the wall took on everyone.

 The photo was taken in Berlin in 1961. So, this is a glimpse at the construction of Disneyland. Pretty cool, right? Imagine building a place like that from the ground up.  Here’s a photo of Albert Einstein and his wife Elsa hanging out with Charlie Chaplan. They’re at the premiere of Chaplan’s film City Lights. It was held at the Los Angeles Theater in Los Angeles back in 1931. Here’s a sweet scene.

 A young boy is clinging tight to his soldier dad while his father lifts his wife up off the ground. Looks like a real moment of joy. wishing her a merry Christmas. It’s a heartwarming scene, and the serviceman is one of the lucky ones who made it home for the holidays. This photo was taken in 1944. Here’s a fun one.

 This photo shows two girls galloping on sheep back in Cornwall, England, way back in  1969. Here’s a cool old photo. This snowman is standing on a Soviet scale. It looks like it was taken in the USSR back in the late 1960s. Here’s a photo of director Alfred Hitchcock on the set of The Birds back in 1962.

 He’s giving some notes, probably to the actors or crew, you know, making sure everything’s just right. Here’s a photo of Billy the Kid taken in  1880. This is Matilda Crawford. She was an anesthesiologist back in 1894.  Here’s a photo from 1922 showing a case of  leprosy. This photo shows a forest of totem poles.

 They were crafted by the Haida people in Skiddiggate, British Columbia way back in 1878.  Here’s a fascinating photo. It looks like a drunken man being carried away in a basket. This was taken in Istanbul back in the  1960s. Here’s a shot called Death Dive taken on the 1st of August, 1930. You see a stunt man getting ready to go, taking off in a specially designed plane right there at Alexandra Palace in  London.

 Here’s a photo of a Soviet war veteran standing next to an eternal flame. It’s a poignant moment captured on the anniversary of Victory Day back in  1966. Here’s the first production tank of the German Empire. It was released between 1917 and  1918. In this series of photos taken in June of 1962 by George Baris, we see the iconic Marilyn Monroe, a blonde bombshell beaming.

 But behind that movie star smile, there was a deep agony. Tragically, she died of an overdose just a few months later on August 4th, 1962. Here’s a photo of a diving champion. It’s from the 16th of July, 1933. That’s Miss Edith McCriedi, the new lady’s diving champion of England, taking a spectacular leap off the board at the Havra Depa swimming pool in Jersey.

 Here’s a shot of a canned beer vending machine from the 1930s.  This photo shows driving really becoming a team effort. It’s from 1943 and a car has gotten stuck in almost 7 in of snow. You can see it on East 38th Street. Here’s a look at the future queen showing real confidence even back in her younger years.

 This photo captures her walking in London in May of  1932. Here’s a shot of men hard at work loading clay onto a wagon pulled by a mule. They’re using this really clever wooden bridge system. It’s a great example of early industrial methods. This photo was taken in St. Louis, Missouri. Here’s a photo of Bill Clinton when he was just 6 years old back in  1952. Here’s a photo from 1926.

 It shows Miss America getting a hair treatment.  In 1961, a Soviet doctor named Leonid Rogazovv was stationed at a Russian base in Antarctica. That’s when he realized he had acute appendicitis. And get this, he was the only physician there. It’s a crowd of Norwegians all excited because they’re getting their first shipment of bananas.

 Can you believe it? This exotic new fruit was a real novelty. The photo was taken in Norway back in the year 1905. Here’s a look back at the New York Stock Exchange in 1915. You can see some experienced ticker tape operators diligently working. They’re really focused, probably keeping a close eye on all the action. Here’s a cool shot from 1938.

 We see Salvador Dolly and Koko Chanel taking a smoke break together. What a  pair. Here’s a picture of John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy back in  1953. All right, school’s out. This photo was taken way back in Bukod, Washington in the year  1942. A look at this. This little boy has a surprise for his girlfriend.
