I don’t want to spend my whole life working in other people’s houses. ” I think you can do anything you decide to do. ” You really believe that? ” I do. Can I ask you something? ” What? ” If you suddenly became rich tomorrow, what would you do? That’s an easy question.

” I’m listening.  ” If I became rich, I would first pay my mother’s debts, ” go back to school,  build my mother a comfortable home, build my mother a comfortable home, and  nothing for yourself. Maybe one day I’d find someone who loves me for who I am. ” What if that person was already here? ” Michael, ” I’m only asking.

” Amara? ” Yes. ” Have you found the owner of the bag? ” Not yet. ” Do you still have it? ” Yes, it’s safe. Thank you for keeping it safe. ” Why does this bag matter so much to you? ” Because some things inside it are very important. ” I understand.  ”  ” She doesn’t know who I am. And maybe that’s why I trust her.

” You look different today. different in a good way. ” Maybe ” my family is hosting a small dinner tonight. ” Why are you telling me? ” I want you to come with me. ” Me? ” Yes.  ” I don’t belong at a place like that. ” You belong wherever you are respected. ” Okay, I’ll come. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the future chairman of Williams Holdings, Mr. Daniel Williams.

 [applause] ” Daniel [applause] ” Amara, let me explain. ” You’re Daniel Williams. Yes. ” You’re the owner of all this. ” Yes. ” Why didn’t you tell me? ” I didn’t mean to. ” You lied to me. ” I never lied about how I felt about you. ” But you lied about who you were. ” Please, let’s talk somewhere private. Daniel, who is this? ” Mother, this is Amara.

” Amara.  ” She is someone very important to me. ” You cannot be serious. ” I am. ” She is a  maid. ” She is a good woman. ” She can’t join this family. ” Don’t speak about her like that. You would embarrass this family  for a woman you barely know. ” I know enough. Amara, please. ” You should have told me the truth from the beginning.

I am sorry. I didn’t know I would fall for you this way. ” But your family will never accept someone like me. ” I think we should stop seeing each other. Amara, Amara, what happened? Michael lied to me about who he was. He even lied about his name.  He is rich, mama. And did he ever make you feel less important because you were poor? ”  ” No.

Then don’t judge his heart by his wealth. His family will never accept me. Sometimes people reject what they don’t understand. ” Daniel, ” I came for the bag. ” You finally came for it? ” Yes. And I came to thank you. Thank me. You had millions in your hands. You could have changed your entire life with this money.

But it wasn’t mine. ” That is why I fell in love with you. Not because you’re beautiful and not because you’re poor. Because when nobody was watching,  you still chose to do the right thing. But there’s something you don’t know. ” What? These documents contain evidence of serious financial wrongdoing inside my company.

” So that’s why you were so worried. ” Yes. ” Who did this? ” I don’t know yet. But now I know I can trust you. You ended things with that girl, didn’t you? ” No, mother. Amara had millions in her hands. She could have disappeared with everything, but she protected it. She didn’t choose our  money.

 She chose honesty. If our family is too proud to recognize a good woman, then maybe our family is the one that needs to change. I’ve been thinking I don’t want your family’s money. And I don’t want to be treated like someone who is lucky just because a rich man loves her. Then don’t because I don’t want you to become someone else for my family.

 I just want you to give me one chance to prove that what I feel for you, what I feel for you is real. One chance.  Sir, we checked the documents and they proved that several people were secretly moving company money. The money was going into private accounts. So, the documents can expose them. Yes, sir.

If Amara had kept this money, none of this would have been discovered. She didn’t just return your money, sir. She protected your family and your company. She protected something much more valuable than money. ” I owe you an apology. For what? ” For judging Amara before knowing her. A woman  who could have taken millions and chose to return them is not beneath this family.
