Mother Dog Was Taught ‘A Lesson’ With Iron Bar After Chasing Away A Kid To Protect Her Puppies..
A video with a poor female beaten with an iron bar while trying to protect her babies has went viral on Facebook… The female dog, mother of 3 puppies, was left paralyzed from the waist down after she was attacked by a man. We rushed there to rescue her and the puppies… Four hours later when we found out about her case and went to pick her up.
She was still lying outside, unable to move and with her three babies next to her. The man has savagely beaten a poor female dog with an iron bar. He left the poor dog paralyzed from the waist down The aggressor decided to give her “a lesson” as the she chased away his kid when he came to play with the puppies Of course the kid was not harmed whatsoever and it’s natural for a mother to try and defend her babies.
This poor dog wasn’t a threat to anyone on the street… But the beast that brought her to this state is a major threat not only to other animals, but to people too! The poor female remained in the street for 4-5 hours until we found about her case and rushed her to the vet.
She showed absolutely no sign of aggression last night when she was picked up. Even though she was handeled when she was in pain and had her 3 puppies by her side. We named her Amal. Amal was taken today for x-rays and we know now that she has L2-L3 vertebra affected.
The vet already started the treatment with spinal infiltrations and he is confident this will help her walk again. If the treatment will not have the desired effects she still has surgery as an option. Amal is just at the beginning of a long and difficult road to recovery But we think she is keeping strong for her puppies and she’s going to make it We had to separate the puppies from Amal.
She’s taking antibiotics and anti-inflammatories so her milk is not good for the puppies. Her urine has a little blood in it so she will take Tarosin for 10 days. We feed the puppies with Royal Canin Starter until Amal can breast feed them again. As you can see Amal is happy and enjoys life even thou she can’t walk yet.
Amal made a small step yesterday and she could sustain her weight for few seconds. Looking back at her state these are huge improvements She is always in good spirit and loves to be in the center of attention. So things look better for Amal and this gives us hope.
